In private and semi-private Reformer sessions, we focus on controlled strength, stability, and alignment. You’ll strengthen your deep stabilizing muscles like your core and glutes, while also building power in your larger muscle groups. If you’re training online, you’ll still experience anatomically informed programming designed to support mobility, balance, and long-term strength.

Here’s the deal. Pilates is a low-impact workout, which means you can do it intentionally and consistently without putting excessive stress on your body. Now does that mean you should do Pilates every single day? I would love for you to, but I get it. Time, access, schedule. It’s real life.
So how many days a week should you do Pilates?
Ideally, you’re looking at two to four times a week. That’s where you start to see real strength, posture, and core stability changes. This can be a mix of in-studio reformer sessions and at-home mat practice, which is why having both options available makes it sustainable long term.

Joseph Pilates created Pilates, a method of exercise that combines physical and mental training. And he didn’t call it Pilates, he actually called it Contrology but that’s a whole other story. And he brought it to the US in the 20s. He left us in the 70s. But he was just a brilliant kind of crazy man.
